Mohare Danda Trek is mainly organized for adventures, environment lovers but peaceful souls. Mohare Danda is an alternative choice of crouched Ghorepani poon hill. The trek takes you to foothills of Mt. Annapurna, exploring beautiful rhododendron flowers in amazing forests of Oaks, pines, and bamboos surrounded by panoramic views of Annapurna (8500m\ 27900ft.), Dhaulagiri (8167m\ 26795ft. ) and MT. Fish Tail (6947m\22793ft.) ranges. During trekking on the way, the trail offers you a chance to explore fascinating rivers and mountains. Moreover, glorious views of sunrises and sunsets with amazing settlements of local people, following their own distinct cultures, traditions, norms, and rituals. Itinerary
Our airport representative picks you up from airport and transfers you to hotel for further briefing about the upcoming trip. In the evening, a small meeting shall be held to discuss and prepare for the trek. And after meeting you can roam around Thamel to get familiar with environment and location.
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel to start your journey to Pokhara. Located about 200 km west from Kathmandu, the drive mostly follows along the Trishuli riverside. Enjoy the views from your window of the changing landscapes. In the evening you can do sightseeing around Pokhara. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally an overnight stay in hotel.
We take about 3 hours drive to Galeshwor along the bank of Kali gandaki River.From there, we hike toward Bans Kharka and cross a suspension bridge right over the deepest gorge Kali Gandaki River. We trek through green forest and amazing flowing river. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally an overnight stay in trekking lodge.
We trek along beautiful villages with stunning mountain views and great landscapes in the surrounding. We even visit organic farm school where the majority of settlers are Magar. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally an overnight stay in trekking lodge.
We traverse though beautiful forest of Oak and Rhododendrons. Amazing views of mountains like Mt. Fishtail, South Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche and many more supports us along the way. Evening in Mohare Danda is complemented with glorious sunset view from Mohare Hill Station. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally an overnight stay in trekking lodge.
Early in the morning, we rise up for blissful sunrise view over clear mountain. You can experience Mt. Fishtail, Dhaulagiri I & II, Tukche, South Annapurna, Nilgiri and others getting decorated by the light of sunlight. Now, it is time to trail toward Deaurali – the way is up and down via Ghorepani – a beautiful village. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally an overnight stay in trekking lodge.
We start moving across group of flatlands, forest with suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola to reach beautiful village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is located in such a way; we get breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre and Hiuchuli. The village has many small teahouses with typical Nepali hospitality and you get to experience wild adventure. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally an overnight stay in trekking lodge.
It is the last day of our trek and ascends gently toward Nayapul. The trail is paved by stones and passes some beautiful villages with terraced farming. First, we cross Modi Khola and reach Birethati from where we enter Nayapul after about half hour. Now, it is easy drive to Pokhara. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner and finally an overnight stay in trekking lodge.
Pokhara to Kathmandu drive takes around 5/7 hours. It is a scenic drive along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi Rivers. After your arrival in Kathmandu, in the evening, you are treated with a special cultural dinner program as a complimentary commencement of Sunrise Adventure Trek. Meals included: Breakfast, and finally an overnight stay in hotel. Attend the evening dinner and cultural program provided by the company.
After the successful completion of our trip, our representative drops you to the airport for your journey home. You are dropped off 3 hours earlier so that there is no any delay in flight. Or you can join another adventure and explore hidden gems of Nepal. Till then, have a safe journey to Home!
